* As these are active cameras it is not possible to predict the exact view of any camera at a particular time. The view arc indicates the range of views of the camera. The long cone indicates the predominant view of the camera.

No, the Traffic Management Cameras (CCTV) do not record any footage.
The cameras are live feeds which are used by our Traffic Management Centre to manage traffic in real time.
Tasmania Police has access to view our CCTV within their Radio Dispatch Area, but they do not have the ability to control or move any CCTV.
There is CCTV on the Tasman Bridge directed to the pedestrian/cycle paths on either side of the bridge.
These cameras are owned and maintained by the Department of State Growth but operated and accessed by Tasmania Police.
The department has no access to these cameras.
