Public passenger bus contracts are subject to Standard Conditions, a Formal Instrument of Agreement, and Payment Model.

The Standard Conditions apply to both general access and school bus services.

Operational guidelines
The Standard Conditions allow the Crown to develop operational guidelines for bus operators and drivers.
Five operational guidelines apply to bus services:

The Formal Instrument of Agreement is the head agreement between an operator and the Crown, and lists each of the contracts held.

The Payment Model contains the rules, calculations and rates to calculate payments. It describes how indexation will be applied throughout the contract term and any other payments that may apply. It should be read in conjunction with the Standard Conditions (PDF 1.7 MB).
