State Growth recently conducted the Taxi Fare Review 2024 to address the rising costs in the taxi industry and to allow taxi operators and drivers to earn a reasonable income from their business.

Proposals under the Taxi Fare Review 2024, which included increasing taxi fares and surcharges and simplifying taxi tariffs were presented to the Taxi Industry, advocacy groups, and consumers for consultation and feedback.

With mindful consideration, The Commissioner for Transport has approved the changes in the Taxi Fare Review 2024 Consultation Paper.
