Agent Authority - Registration

When completing transactions as Agent/representative.

For standard vehicles. Such as cars, caravans, and trailers, and heavy vehicles that meet vehicle standards.

Restricted Use Registration

For ATVs, quad bikes, non-agricultural tractors, and ag or recreational use motorcycles. Also, ride-on mowers, golf buggies, and over-snow mobiles. Also forklifts and special purpose vehicles with a GVM/MRC of 4.5t or less.

Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Registration

For vehicles with a GVM/MRC over 4.5t built for a specific purpose. Like agricultural tractors, harvesters. Bulldozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, telehandlers. Mobile cranes, fire engines, truck-mounted concrete pumps, and boring plants.

Vintage and Street Rod Registration (Club Event)

For Members of car clubs who have a vintage or street rod vehicle.

Special Interest Registration

For impressive vehicles over 30 years old, Rally Vehicles and Charitable event vehicles.

Register a Passenger Transport Vehicle

For vehicles used for passenger transport, hire & drive, Ride Source, etc.

Seasonal Registration

For heavy vehicles who need registration on a seasonal basis.

Dealer Registration Scheme

For new Standard vehicles, which meet vehicle standards, purchased from a licensed dealer.

Concessional Registration

To apply for a Motor tax rebate for Interchangeable trailers and some farm vehicles.

Non-Compliant Conditional Registration

For vehicles modified to assist disabled drivers, imported rally cars and other.

Short Term Unregistered Vehicle Permit

For temporary use of an unregistered vehicle on public streets.

Temporary Upgrade Permit
