About the project

The Claremont Link Slope Stabilisation Project involves the stabilisation of the underpass between the off-ramp to Claremont Link Road and the Brooker Highway, city-bound.

The main aim of this project is to improve safety for all road users by reducing the risk of rock falls onto the road and to repair cracking on the road surface due to the settlement of the road embankment.

Timing

Work began on Wednesday, 22 May 2024 and is expected to take approximately eight weeks to complete, weather permitting.

We will be working between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

During working hours there will be a reduced speed limit and with two lanes opened at all times.

Please keep to speed limits to keep our workers and the community safe and follow the directions of traffic controllers. Please allow around eight extra minutes when travelling.

During morning and afternoon peak times, there will be a reduction to 80km/h on the Brooker Highway.
