Tasman Highway Upgrades – Greens Road Junction
We are upgrading the junction of the Tasman Highway and Greens Road, Orielton in the state’s south-east.
We are adding a turn-right lane on the Tasman Highway’s northbound lane at the junction of Greens Road, Orielton to improve road safety.
We are also widening this section of the road to deliver safer passing of turning vehicles for those traveling north on the Tasman Highway. This measure will reduce the likelihood of rear-end and overtaking collisions.
Designs and funding have been finalised and construction is expected to start in early to mid 2025. Once we have confirmed the schedule, we will let you know what the temporary traffic management arrangements are during work.
This project is funded by the Tasmanian Government under the Capital Investment Program.
