This project improved safety from Lower Marshes Road, Jericho, to 1 kilometre north of Oatlands.
Works include road widening, extending sealed shoulders, additional overtaking lanes, and installing flexible safety barriers.
The safety improvements will reduce the risk of head-on and loss of control crashes and achieve a minimum 3 star AusRAP safety rating for the Midland Highway.
We started construction in February 2022 and completed the works in the winter of 2024.
