About the project

This project improved safety between Mona Vale Road and Campbell Town.

Works included road widening, extending sealed shoulders, additional overtaking lanes, and installing flexible safety barriers.

The safety improvements will reduce the risk of head-on and loss of control crashes and achieve a minimum 3 star AusRAP safety rating for the Midland Highway.

Timing

We started construction in February 2022 and finished in mid-2024.
